The lodge is situated on over 1000 hectares of unspoilt bushveldt, with a variety of local game species and iconic African trophy wild, such as giraffe, zebra, kudu and leopard.

Situated in the North West province of South Africa in the town of Zeerust, Kareespruit remains conveniently close to the town’s nearby shops while still offering the rustic feel of the African bushveldt.

The main lodge offers modern family rooms with self-catering facilities that can accommodate up to 8 people, the bushveld suites are ideal for couples on a breakaway weekend or singles on a stopover. Catering for the Bushveld suites is located in the Lapa and includes a patio braai, boma fire, fridges, 8 seater table and game viewing deck.

The lodge is also conveniently located in close proximity to the national routes to and from Botswana and Namibia, making it the ideal stopover destination for travellers on journey to these destinations.

Our Climate

Located in the Temperate Northwest province of South Africa, Kareespruit enjoys a mild and temperate climate with warm summers and pleasant winters. Day time tempratures range from 17°C-35°C (63°F-95°F).
